Needless to say, I may be freaking out just a tad. But now we have our PowerPoint that we can add at least. And after this we work on our initial experiments, working on the mini-documentary and getting our advisory team together.
Speaking of advisory team, on Tuesday we met one of Mrs. Ebmeyer's former students, Dionna Williams. She's a PhD student working with the HIV virus and how it crosses the blood brain barrier - she's also, as Mrs. Ebmeyer puts it, a "protein specialist". She helped us figure out which proteins we should test in addition to albumin from egg whites - which was one of the main problems we were struggling with.
Anyway, it's late and I'm getting some sleep! We have a big presentation tomorrow and I'm going to try to learn my slides well enough that I won't have to use my note-cards too much. Wish me luck!
