Sooo close! We finished the website and proposal right at the deadline. We frantically worked on everything, editing and adding information. We wanted everything to be perfect. Hopefully it is! Now onto presentations and booth design. SO much work, so little time. Gotta hustle! - Judy and Kristen

This week has been so hectic...and it's not even over yet! We're getting all the little details finished before the Sunday night deadline for our website and it's going on forever! Every time we think we're close, one of us finds something that needs "tweaking". We're all a bunch of perfectionists! And of course, as soon as we hand it in, we'll find something else we wanna change. Ah well, c'est la vie.
Still, we can all feel the pressure. I was at a family party all day, so It's currently Sunday morning at 2 a.m. and me and Judy are still working away like it's the middle of the afternoon. Unfortunately, Riham has been out with the the flu for two weeks so we've been one person short during crunch time. Wish us luck (and sweet dreams soon?) -Kris Soo I finished the documentary. I just added the final touches. It is now on youtube, facebook page, and on the S.I.M.P.L.E campaign page. We are working on booth design, flyers, and poster boards now. Have to edit the proposal and to continue research on SiM. Toodle-oo!!
☮ & ♥- Judy So we are in the midst of figuring out the scientific components for the product. I am going to be working on the microchip while Debbie and Kristen are working on the display screen and ammeter. Riham has the sniffles (well the flu) but she will be back in no time and can help us out with the product.
- Judy :D We won our mini-exposition here at Aquaculture. All of the teams did a really great job presenting and gave us a run for our money. Thanks to all the advisors, helped us out a lot with the information on the proteins. Now we need to focus on celebrating, our presentation, and winning in Hartford....fingers crossed - Judy We're going to Expo! They saved the best for last at mini-expo today and we were chosen by the teachers to move onto the biggest challenge yet. I can't even tell you how nerve-wracking it was to be last - everyone's presentation was amazing! Especially Strawberry Awareness - honestly there was a moment where I was sure we were toast. We have to analyze the feedback and start all the REAL work now. But for today, we get to celebrate!
-Kris Whelp. Tomorrow is the day. Our mini-expo held at Aquaculture. We all spent 8 hours today at Judy's house planning and working and practicing (and eating pizza), so it's been a long day. We're all currently staying up to perfect our presentation, and adding the finishing touches to the website, so lets hope all goes well.
Now REALLY wish us luck!!!! - Riham :] Later on, I will add more scenes to it because I do think it is a bit short. However, for right now this will do. Took me a small amount of time to do this...I never would have guessed. - Judy So we are progressing on our project, the proposal is almost done and there is a design coming along for the product. Everyone is finishing up on their slides for the powerpoint. We are going to shoot scenes tomorrow. Everything is looking quite dandy.
- Judy ☮ & ♥ What's up guys!! So today, we were working on our documentary for our presentation. We had to act out a couple of our scenes for the message of hearing loss. What we did shouldn't even be called acting, it should be called " this is what happens when you give a videocamera to crazy people." Anyways it wasn't all that bad.....hopefully. I am going to edit the best of our takes and I'm hoping it looks decent enough. Now we're trying to focus on our presentations and I will put some bloopers up to prolong Deborah's misery.
